Protection Of The Inverter To The Permanent Magnet Motor

1, over voltage protection

The inverter output has an automatic voltage regulation function. When the external power input is too high, the output voltage can be controlled not to exceed the rated voltage of the permanent magnet synchronous motor.


2, under voltage protection

When the voltage of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is lower than 90% of the normal voltage, the inverter enters the protection permanent magnet synchronous motor output mode to reduce the output frequency; when the permanent magnet synchronous motor voltage is lower than the normal voltage 65.2%, the motor is stopped.


3, over current protection

When the current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor exceeds the rated value, the inverter protects the permanent magnet synchronous motor by stopping.


4, lack of phase protection

The output voltage is monitored. When the output is out of phase, the inverter alarms. After a period of time, the inverter protects the permanent magnet synchronous motor by stopping.


5, overload protection

The inverter monitors the current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor. When the rated current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor exceeds the rated current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor, the motor is protected by the accumulated heat calculated by the inverse time limit. When the permanent magnet synchronous motor exceeds the rated current by 2 times and reaches 1 minute, the frequency conversion is performed. The machine protects the motor by stopping it.


6, grounding protection

Generally, it is composed of a grounding protection transformer and a relay. When one phase or two phases are grounded, the inverter alarms.


7, short circuit protection

After the output of the inverter is short-circuited, it will inevitably cause overcurrent. In 10 microseconds, the inverter will stop the permanent magnet synchronous motor.


8, overclocking protection

The inverter has maximum and minimum frequency limit functions, so that the output frequency can only be within the specified range, thus achieving overclock protection.
